The Argon Wine Adapter

Is my solution to overpriced capsules

Don’t spend your hard earned money!

 

Very simple installation:
You need a cylinder of argon, know as CGA-580 cylinder. Size ? Find one that suits your needs.
Remove the empty  argon capsule holder from you wine device,
and screw on the adapter that’s connected to the cylinder of argon.

Not for use with disposable cylinders.

Please be sure to turn off the gas nightly at the cylinder as leaks may occur.

Although the Coravin Device opens up greater possibilities for glass pours and less waste, the overwhelming fact is that the capsules are very costly…..Costing as much as $.53 cents a pour for 5 ounces. John developed the Argon Wine Adapter® out of necessity to lower the cost of capsule pours. Down to $. 01 cent on a 5 ounces pour from a 40cf argon cylinder . In following up with my customer base, I have been made aware of a potential issue with the first generation models, 1000 and 8 (eight). These models may leak gas from being either worn out, broken or defective.
Although Argon gas is inert and harmless, it does have the potential to be dangerous. If argon leaks out in a small room that is not very well ventilated, it could potentially rid the room of the necessary oxygen to breath. Use caution and shut off the gas at the cylinder or the shut off valve at the handle after every use.
